My name is Maya. I came to Israel 16 years ago from Russia. There has been a period of three years that I lived in the Negev Desert. I guess it has been a very special experience for me. Very glad it happened.

I always drew. When my daughter was born it was natural for me to draw a diary about her. Then it developed into illustrating a story for her. She is the real person that caused me to become illustrator.
